What's new this year
The autumn edition runs Oct 17–25, 2026 at seven Hangang parks (including Jamwon, Ttukseom, Banpo and Gangseo) and on the river itself. Highlights: The Road Chef Hangang, a K-street-food truck contest by 20 young chefs at the Ttukseom Hangang Park swimming pool (Oct 23, 5–9 pm; Oct 24, 1–9 pm; Oct 25, 1–8 pm; free entry); yacht rides (20,000–31,000 won, 2–10 pm) and kayaking (12,500–30,000 won, 2–5:30 pm) at Sebitseom in Banpo; and a free zipline and tree-climbing course at Gangseo Hangang Park on Oct 24–25, 1–5 pm. For Ttukseom, Jayang Station (Line 7) exits 2 and 3 lead straight into the park. For questions in English, call the Seoul city help line 120.

Overview
In May, the Hangang River offers a range of activities that appeal to both children and adults. Programs include plays based on Korea's folklore, as well as family-friendly experiences. Visitors can also participate in silent yoga sessions using headsets or enjoy the natural scenery of Seoul through activities such as kayaking, yachting, and river cruises. These programs provide a variety of ways to experience the Hangang River during the spring season.
