Overview
The Miryang Arirang Festival celebrates and preserves Miryang Arirang, which was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2012. First launched in 1957 as the Miryang Cultural Festival, it has grown into one of Gyeongsangnam-do’s leading regional festivals. Visitors can enjoy the Miryang Arirang Competition, Arirang-themed experiences, and a variety of traditional cultural programs.
