What's new this year
The walk is held on three separate days, not continuously: Sep 19 (Gapyeong, meeting at Gapyeong Station), Oct 10 (Pocheon, Hantangang River UNESCO Global Geopark) and Nov 7, 2026 (Chuncheon, meeting at Chuncheon Station). Each walk runs 9 am – 2 pm. It is free for ages 8 and up, with online registration on the Han River Watershed Management Committee website (hanriver.or.kr). Every participant gets a tote bag and a souvenir; finishing all three courses earns a completion badge.

Overview
The Han River Walk is a walking event that takes place at various locations along the Hangang River. Participants can expect to enjoy light exercise in beautiful natural settings, as well as earn a completion medal. In addition to walking, the festival dates will feature a range of additional events for a lively environment.
